1. Acceptance & Enrollment Scope

By enrolling a student at Proventus Academy, accessing our digital learning portals (AlphaGrad ERP), or submitting an admission inquiry, parents, legal guardians, and students agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between the parent/guardian and Proventus Academy, Kothanur, Bangalore.

2. Admissions & Batch Placement

Proventus Academy operates with strict batch limits (maintaining high faculty-to-student ratios across 4 targeted cohorts for optimal learning). Admission is granted on the basis of academic evaluation and seat availability:

• NIOS Secondary Cohorts: Morning batch sessions (9:00 AM to 12:30 PM). Enrolled students must complete Tutor Marked Assignments (TMAs) and mandatory practical laboratory sessions.
• CBSE & ICSE Evening Batches: Evening coaching sessions (5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday through Friday). Students are grouped according to syllabus pace and board curriculum requirements.
• Cohort Capacity: The Institute reserves the right to transfer a student between cohorts if deemed pedagogically necessary by the Academic Director.

4. Tuition Fees & Refund Policy

Tuition fees are structured on term or installment schedules agreed upon during enrollment:

• Payment Due Dates: Term installment payments must be completed on or before the designated installment date indicated on the fee obligation schedule.
• Digital Invoicing: Official receipts are generated digitally upon successful payment and accessible in the student portal fee ledger.
• Refund Policy: Registration and admission processing fees are non-refundable. For course withdrawals requested within 14 days of academic commencement, tuition fees are refunded pro-rata after deducting administrative setup costs. No tuition refunds are issued after 30 days from the batch start date.

5. Campus Discipline & Code of Conduct

Proventus Academy strives to provide a safe, respectful, and academically inspiring environment. Students are expected to adhere to basic standards of behavior:

• Respect for faculty, administrative staff, and fellow students at all times.
• Strict prohibition of mobile phone usage during instructional classroom hours unless authorized for pedagogical digital activities.
• Zero tolerance for harassment, bullying, vandalism of laboratory or campus property, or academic dishonesty (e.g., plagiarism in internal assessments).
• Violations may result in formal warnings, parent conferences, suspension, or termination of enrollment.

6. Student & Parent Portal Usage

Access to the online portal is granted solely to enrolled students, authorized guardians, and faculty. Users must safeguard their login credentials and are responsible for all actions taken under their unique account. Account sharing or unauthorized attempts to access another student's assessments or records is strictly prohibited.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

All lecture notes, proprietary problem sets, study modules, assessment question banks, and curriculum frameworks developed by Proventus Academy remain the intellectual property of the Institute. Materials may not be reproduced, republished, or redistributed for commercial coaching purposes without prior written authorization.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes, claims, or controversies arising out of or related to student enrollment or institutional services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
